Bula and congratulations to our new 19km race record holders!

Last week Josh Richardson of Brisbane, Australia set a new race record of 3:39:00 with an unbelievably fast swim and Kirsten Cameron of Wellington, New Zealand set a new female race record of 4:08:46.  A new Australian female record was set by Caitlin Wall of Brisbane, Australia in 4:12:25.  These times are all the more impressive as we had a slightly longer course this year starting from our new home at the Westin Denarau Island Resort & Spa.

Josh backed up two days later to win the shortened Fiji Swims – 2.3km Beachcomber Island Swim just ahead of Malcolm Allen of Sydney, Australia, while Caitlin was the first woman across the line.  Well done to everyone who participated, race results will be posted next week. Vinaka / Thank you!
